Andrew-Lee Potts is an English actor who portrays Connor Temple in Series 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Primeval. He is currently engaged with Primeval co-star Hannah Spearritt, who lives with him, and have plans to be married in 2012, now that the filming of Series 5 of Primeval is complete. This relationship is also reflected onscreen. They were together before, when Hannah was 16 and Andrew was 18, but after 2 week their relationship ended. Ironically, they are now engaged and getting married.
He attended Leeds Performing Arts School and began his career in musical theatre. He has appeared in many other British television programmes and other programmes instead of just Primeval, including Children's Ward, Heartbeat, Dalziel and Pascoe, Strange, Foyle's War, Dead Fish, Fat Friends, Rose and Maloney, Alice, Taggart, and Band of Brothers, where he plays the part of a soldier being killed by his own grenade. He also appeared in some movies such as Caffeine.
Andrew's character, Connor, also strongly resembles Andrew himself. He is the only cast member, along with Hannah and Ben Miller, to appear in all series, but he and Hannah are the only cast members to appear in every single episode.
His relationship with Abby Maitland in Primeval is reflecting to his relationship with Hannah Spearritt (who plays Abby) in real life. Ironically, they are engaged in Primeval and engaged in real life.
Andrew and Hannah will be married in 2012.
He is the only cast member to be in all series and episodes.
